A brief history
(Andrew) Nghia Nguyen, the principal architect, started CA2homes in 2013 as his side job after 13 years working for contractors and architectural firms in the Bay Area and overseas.
CA2homes focuses on single-family residences (houses) both remodel and new construction.
CA2homes has designed and got permits for many ADUs in San Jose and its surrounds.
Our first fully customized and luxurious ADU was approved and built in Monte Sereno back in 2015 when ADU was not allowed without providing an additional garage.

As an architect licensed in the State of California, we feel to be responsible to make housing affordable to more people and to fight the housing crisis. UniADU.com was born in June 2023 thankfully to the City of San Jose's help and encouragement made the process smooth and straightforward.
Where we are today
We have got permits for many custom ADUs, detached or attached in the South Bay Area.
We designed one of the first ADUs built under the new law in San Jose.
We designed the first SB9 project in San Jose.
We are listed on the City of San Jose for pre-approved ADU plans ready for permits.
We are highly recommended by our clients.
